because it is bound to happen in a matter of days, I'm asking in advance that no links are posted here to download the album on MSM. If there is a link where the album is being legally streamed, I am fine with that. The reason for this request is because as you may or may not know, it is copyright infringement to download studio albums and I suspect the board is already being watched by some of those that are affiliated with JM for this "leak" and I will be asked to take it...

Easily long overdue, but I'm adding a new mod to the MSM/JMc discussion forum...Jocelyn (AKA Jocelyn 2003). Jocelyn is a super old school fan (one of the oldest I know), has been around MSM for a long time and understands the culture here and how to moderate it respectfully. She's well liked, well informed and has the best interests of the community and MSM at heart.

Anyone havin trouble pre-ordering Battle Studies through JM store?

I've been trying to place my pre-order, but once it goes to the "login to your account" page (when you try to checkout), it doesn't recognize the old email address I used to use for the JM store.

and when I click the link, "forgot or need to setup your password," it tells you to just type in your email address so that they can reset your password....

err.. am I just missing something here?

I'm not sure if this was posted, if it was, I apologize. But, John will be performing at this years Z100 Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden. The rest of the lineup looks pretty good too but once I heard Mayor was playing at it I knew I needed to go. What about you guys anyone else planning to go?

I know this is probably a ridiculous question (and I do not mean to cause offense), but I am curious and ask this question of people who have seen John Mayer live recently.

If I was to see him live, should I expect something raw and not as vocally awesome as Any Given Thursday or the awesome sound, performance and perfect vocals of Where the Light Is?

John and drugs

I'm curious to ask some diehard fans if they know John's stance on drugs. Basically, what is he on record as having done? Musicians by nature dabble into them to say the least. I've heard he's a pot head which isn't shocking, but a friend of mine (who's not much of a fan) saw a clip of Vultures his roommate was playing on YouTube and he swore John was on the H train (heroin). Any ideas?
