i've found that the sound is really good in the first 10 rows or the lawn and everywhere else it's not as pure for some reason

I noticed that too...I could hear the guitar much better on the actual tape of the show than when I was there...the bass up that close just drowned it out, but maybe that's what we get for being too close and not back away from the speakers? I don't know how all that technical crap works, so I'm just guessing!

The BTMB intro was the best part of the show for me....it literally gave me goosebumps during the show.

I'm listening to it too, and I'm beginning to wonder...I couldn't hear a lot of the guitar work from being up front. I was about 5th row center--does anyone else feel this way? Is there a way to be up close and avoid saturating your ears? I remarked about the immense "wall of bass" from up there earlier, but now I think it caused me to miss some of the show, in a way.

ETA: That intro to BTMB; me likey.

No Bryan....nothing from that taper yet, but so far the first tape is excellent, so I'm not gonna worry about it!

waited in line for 4 hours, only to see them sell out right when i get to the front of the line.

i had to order one and luckily since i was one of the first people on their waiting list, it'll be here in about 5 days...

it would be pretty cool to meet up...mallory and i are friends anyway (real life not just msm, lol) but it would be cool to meet fellow indiana/mid west mayer fans from here..let me know when its back on.

Get your mind out of the gutter!! Looks like our Indy Fest has been post-poned....for now anyway. But, I definitely think I get infused with spirit when I drink spirits! I probably get a little too spirited sometimes!! Mayer likes his spirits too, so it's only right that we honor him that way if we can ever all get together
