hahaha I love how they're not even consistent with the extensions. It doesn't make any sense since my original expiry is supposed to be June 20, so it's not like they decided to extend for an extra 3 months or anything, just a random September date. Oh, L83, the laughs never cease.

I could care less about that message board, super awesome membership pack, and "news updates" - the only reason I have ever renewed is for tickets, so as long as that sticks around,...

I have no idea. I presume they will have to have something in place when they start to talk about a tour. But I know on the boat they said there was no need for a fan club so to speak...so I am thinking probably just something for tickets???

That's a good question. Maybe since your membership wasn't expiring until June it doesn't matter. Mine expired in February and they refused to extend it like some people said they were.

I just sent this email to Local-83 Help Desk, to find out a couple of things about my membership at Local-83 and maybe you guys can help me out:

1) Am I suppose to receive by mail any kind of package? It says on the website the following "LOCAL 83 MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE - All new and renewing members will receive a package full of great John Mayer items to welcome them into the Listeners Union. ". I did not receive anything as such
