So I've been listening to the record for about a week without skipping any songs and find that it's a good record, but not great. It's better than Heavier Things in many respects, but doesn't out-do Continuum and it wasn't really supposed to. I'll just go song by song.

Heartbreak Warfare
This the a great opening track. It introduces the album really well and it could have very well have been the album title...

Yeah, if you dig down into your iTunes folder, inside the John Mayer subfolder you'll find a folder for the Battle Studies Deluxe Version.. inside there, will be a file with an extension of .itlp. Not sure on WIN, but on Mac, you right click and...

Does anyone know how to extract the demos from iTunes? I have them open and can play them in the LP, but is there a way to put them on my iPod?

So far...Who Says is my least favorite song on the album. Horrible choice for the first single. When he plays it on tour, I'm gonna roll my eyes and resist the urge to sit down. My first favorites (as of now) are: HOMH, Assasin, CROSSROADS!!!!, WOML. I love Hearbreak Warfare, but I'm really trying not to let it bother me that it's such a rip off of Filter's Take A Picture. I am trying to tell myself that it doesn't matter, but it's just really hard to get past that for...

Just got Battle Studies here in Brazil! Thank God the Brazilian website that I bought it had a pre-sale. It arrived pretty fast considering I imported it.
