Kristy, a map with screennames would be the best. I was shocked when I saw myself on the map.

Sorry! I just went through the thread here and over @ the Sixthman site and got what people had already put there. I'll work on getting a
"screenname" map up as soon as I can.

Very cool, Kristy. Thanks! My screenname here is the same as the Mayercraft board.

Its not the anonymous factor it was more of a whoah how Kristy know. I didn't email her the info. But seeing that she got it from the mayercraft board I see now, I didn't know that she got it from there. I thought she was psychic or something. |

Haha! If I was psychic, I'd be using those powers for much bigger things
I'm going to replace "real" names on the map I already have with screennames (if I have them). That seems to be the easiest thing to do. I'll have tne new ones scanned in and up tonight! "Fans- I think of you all the time

Okay- maps have been redone, replacing "real" names with usernames (if available). Those who didn't have usernames have been left as real names.
I will update probably at least twice a week, so keep the information coming. If I need to change anything, let me know!

Saw Dave Barnes and Matt Wertz tonight. If Dave wasn't on your list of artists to see on the boat, add him to it and hope that Matt Wertz jumps in his
suitcase and comes along. Excellent show- one of the best I've seen. I went for Barnes and fell in love with Wertz. And, of course, Matt Mangano was there
(apparently "Mango" is his new name). All in all, a GREAT night!!
Keep those cabin assignments/usernames coming!! "Fans- I think of you all the time

"mango" since i first saw them play together in '05, but i'm betting it existed before then, too. yay dave!

I am SO into 80s prom night and the t-shirt contest on boarding day...my gears are already turning!

if it's anything like TRB, you will love those two events. Last year Sixthman did the t-shirt contest on boarding day, and it was HYSTERICAL, found myself asking people constantly where they got their shirts. Let's just say loads of smartass remarks on shirts, or loads of women making comments on their chest. The 80s night was pretty fun to watch, at DRH's show there was a group who dressed up SO WELL and he said something about why everyone was dressed like douchebags, then was told it was 80s night, and he said then you all look the part well! If it's your cup o' tea to get into it, you are SET with these events! Lezleigh |

I'm definitely not feeling an 80s theme, but it's cool for anyone who is thinking of it. Perhaps it's because I was really only six at the end of
the 80s. Therefore, I've decided if anyone says, "Where's your 80s outfit?" My response will be, "Well, I hopped into the time machine
in Back to the Future and ended up in this."
Maybe I'll participate in the t-shirt contest! I'll have to see if I can come up with anything clever. That'll be the challenge. |

Lauren just posted this on the Sixthman boards. The e-mail is going out tomorrow, but she wanted to give us a heads up.
The time has come, Mayercrafters...we have hotels for you! Thank you for bearing with us while we found the best options. Since we'll be in Miami during high season, we weren't able to get one large block of rooms - which is what we usually strive for. Instead, we have four hotels for you, all with their own pros and cons. Read further, and we'll lay it all out... First, pre-party details. We've taken over the outdoor pool area at the Sheraton Miami Mart hotel. We'll have music, latin inspired food, drinks, and plenty of time and space for you to mix and mingle with your fellow Mayercraft Carrier guests prior to sailing. Admission to the party is free, but there is a charge for food and drinks - make sure to bring cash! The food and drink stations will be open from 6-10pm, and then you're welcome to stick around the hotel or explore what Miami has to offer. Now here are your hotel options: Sheraton Miami Mart - near airport 711 NW 72 Ave, Miami FL 33126 1-800-325-3535, mention the specific hotel and the Sixthman group Reserve a room online Cost: $199 per night for double occupancy, Thirds and Fourths $20 extra per guest * RATE IS ONLY VALID JANUARY 31 * Pre-Party held in this location * No airport shuttle * Shuttles will be provided to the port on the 1st for a nominal charge, or cab it for around $20 * Short term parking is $8 per day. Long term parking is $12 per day and is secured * Large block of rooms at this location, so you'll be with a lot of Mayercraft Carrier cruisers Red Roof Inn Airport 3401 NW 42nd Ave, Miami FL 33142 1-800-RED-ROOF, mention Mayercraft Carrier Cost: $135 per night for double occupancy, Thirds and Fourths $10 extra per guest * Rate is valid January 29-31 and February 4-5, so come early and stay late * Free airport shuttle to hotel, runs every 30 minutes * Shuttles will be provided to the port on the 1st for a nominal charge, or cab it for around $20 * Continental Breakfast included * Free parking, but is unsecured * Approximately 5 miles from the pre-party location Radisson - near port 1601 Biscayne Blvd, Miami FL 33132 (305) 374-0000 Reserve a room online, Promo code MAYER Cost: $159 per night, up to 4 people * Rate is valid January 29-31 and February 4-5, so come early and stay late * No airport shuttle. Cab ride is approximately $20 * No port shuttle. Cab ride is approximately $5 per person * Short and long term valet parking available for $28 per night * Large block of rooms at this location, so you'll be with a lot of Mayercraft Carrier cruisers * Approximately 9 miles from pre-party location Doubletree - near port 1717 N. Bayshore Drive, Miami FL 33132 1-800-853-0270, specify you're with the Mayercraft Carrier group Reserve a room online, group code - STM Cost: $200 per night for double occupancy, Thirds and Fourths $10 extra per guest * RATE IS ONLY VALID JANUARY 31 * No airport shuttle. Cab ride is approximately $20 * No port shuttle. Cab ride is approximately $5 per person * Short term parking available for $25/day. No long term parking * Approximately 9 miles from pre-party location We know it's a lot of information to absorb, so for your convenience, we've created a map with all the important landmarks so you can get a better sense of where everything is. You can view it online here. Please note that no shuttles will be provided from the port hotels to the pre-party, but we've found that a cab will be less expensive and more convenient for you anyway. We'll make sure the hotels are aware that we'll need lots of taxis that night! There will be shuttles provided from the airport hotels to the port on February 1 for a nominal charge. We'll have a shuttle company selling tickets at the pre-party the night before the cruise; you will be able to purchase return trip tickets at the same time. No shuttles will be provided from the port hotels to the port. A cab will be much less expensive. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office via phone or e-mail. We're happy to help steer you in the right direction if you need assistance. Are we there yet? "Fans- I think of you all the time
and I'm so blessed I still got you on my side."~JM

I'm pretty upset by this. I could have had an employee rate for $49 at this hotel a few weeks ago but decided no because I assumed it would be far away
from the good stuff plus the fact it's apparently in a not so great neighborhood. Now the rate is $199? Ugh.

I said I thought this would be the same as the rockboat the party at the host hotel etc
They have been running it this way for the last few years..I couldn't believe they would switch it up... we're booked. debbie

Yep, Debbie. You were right. Lauren had originally said it most likely wouldn't be done that way, but I guess they decided to go with what's worked for
them in the past.
I'm waiting to hear back from my cruise roomie and a few others, but I expect we'll be booked very soon. "Fans- I think of you all the time
