It's also cool that they played Bold As Love (first played at the Tsunami Benefit, sorry Jocelyn but it was eating away at me).

Oh man, I really like the third picture you posted.
I guess it's nice that he wore a suit for one set. But I think he looks so much more like himself in his jeans and t-shirt.

If anyone has videos of Neon, Stop this Train, or I'm gonna find another you, I really could use those. I have a bunch of other ones that I'm waiting

this was definitely an amazing show...amazing music, and john played better than I've ever seen him
HOWEVER. I was extremely disappointed with the seating. and the cameras. and the cameras effect on the seating. I was in Orchestra Row H, in the 100 section. And I was so excited to have really decent seats close to the stage this time around, just because I love to watch the man play. But I ended up watching the entire show on the giant screen to the left because the camera men were busy fiddling the the camera the entire show...directly in my point of view, as well as those in front of and behind me. It was definitely disappointing to drive out to LA to see him play and finally have a chance to actually WATCH him, you know? and then to have the cameras directly in front of the seating. I don't know. I went through a lot of trouble to get tickets and to make this trip...and don't get me wrong. I LOVED the concert, he played amazingly, and I was there for the music, I just would have liked to be able to actually watch the concert in front of me, not on the big screen....especially when I should have been able to see everything that went on onstage. I'm not being bitter. I'm just a little disappointed that more consideration wasn't taken in those seats with the obstructed view. Suggestion to maybe not sell the areas that will be obstructed next time? Maybe. I know they want to sell every possible seat. But I would rather have 100 seats or so cut out than have people not be able to really enjoy a live performance. Just my two cents. John did an amazing job last night. I had a great time Jen |

Jen, I too had almost the same situation from my rowF seat in the 100's. I watched the show from the big screen most of the time. If it wasn't the
cameras blocking my view of the stage, it was some very tall guys who were directly in my sight line. I think I would have had a better view from the loge. I
brought my DSLR with me but alas was unable to get any clear shots. Security even saw the camera in my purse when they checked it and they didn't even bat
an eye.
The show was unforgetable despite the view from my seat. I'm so happy Ms Debbie has already posted the acoustic link. Thanks to you Deb! Christine |
