I have a relatively small collection compared to some of you (a couple jm guitars, all the commercial mech, ticket stubs,etc.), but I have yet to see someone
claim the one performance that got myself (and perhaps a few more of you) into listening to John's work....The Chappelle show skit. First, it was really
funny, but as a guitar player, when I saw John playing some of those blues licks.... I was looking up his stuff after I saw that show and was hooked from that
time forward. I really want to get the Japaneese guitar mag with the pics of his live setup.

Ugh! I don't have the ummmmffff to even compile this list! Suffice to say, I have every studio album and a healthy amount of shows, probably not close to
complete, but I'm trying, Every appearance that's been captured on TV, More pictures than you can even imagine, Every article I've ever found,
Ticket Stubs, At least 15 T-shirts from his entire career, a couple of jackets and hoodies, various little doohickeys (keychains, journals, postcards etc.)
Several pics, and 3 of his albums on Vinyl along with his blogs, stuntlife cartoons etc. etc. etc.
I am indeed a warped individual. |

For someone that spends a decent amount of time on these boards, belongs to L-83 (pretty much solely for the tickets now) and contributes to a blog about JM, I
have no collection - mostly because I don't wear branded t-shirts, don't put up music posters, and up until recently was a poor college student.
I have: Room For Squares Room For Squares (double sided disc w/ DVD) Heavier Things (dualdisc) Any Given Thursday DVD Continuum (L-83 edition w/ silver bag, pik card and postcard) - personally autographed "Signed" Postcard from L-83 member kit 8x10 2007 Gap Ad Roughly 10 live shows, all courtesy of Debbie 3 Ticket stubs Although I no longer have the actual CD's for RFS, HT or Continuum, as I've lent them out and have yet to have them returned. Obviously, I'm the ultimate dedicated fan.

If you have questions about what tracks certain CDs have, ask away  I normally don't like to have repeat tracks -- like the Daughters single, the 2 live
tracks are already on as/is .. though the cover is really nice

I won't post my whole collection, but I will explain 1 of (if not) my favorite items.
When the Awarestore did the presale for the original RFS (black and white cover) in 2001, the first 2000 copies were autographed and numbered. The interesting thing is, they were autographed with a silver sharpie. However, thanks to the Aware people for making it known, but 10 copies were signed in gold. Somehow, miraculously, I ended up with one of the gold copies (#1969). So, if you're one of the lucky ones who has a copy signed in gold, hang on to it and if you see someone selling one in gold, you may want to increase your efforts to get it. |

Standard stuff except for a few posters. One is actually pretty awesome.
It's Sony's proof of the CD booklet for Room for Squares. It's all on one page, with the calibration and crop marks, and it's marked with a job number and Sony as the customer. I'm pretty sure there are only 1 or 2 more out there. Autographed too. |
