Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Unless you plan to do something like diving and are lugging your own equipment and tanks with you (that intensive), highly recommend doing what Monica suggested. You can easily book your excursions onboard once you get the feel of where your trip seems to be leading you. Doing nothing is also just as nice, Freeport is so touristy that if you stay in the populated areas you should be fine. Sitting on the beach with a drink in hand can be very, very nice.... Excursions should be no stress.....Lez

I have no idea about dramamine. it makes me to sleepy to take. it's a 3 day cruise I know I will get sick, I take the same pills for the plane. so I will pop one on thursday morning before I board the plane debbie "She carries a lot of suitcases but all of them are empty because she's expecting to completely fill them with life by the end of the trip." She meant meds like cold meds in case you happen to catch a cold or anything while you're on the cruise. It's easier to have something with you than trying to find some on the ship and paying a much higher price for it. One of the artists on TRB got sick, so that's why she brought it up....just wanted to clarify. As for motion sickness....Dramamine makes me sleepy also....so I'm taking the patch and bonine, but I plan on taking one of them before I board my plane on Thurs morning like Debbie said....just to get a jump on it and head it off before it even begins. I always take mine because the ship ones take forever on my [thick] hair. Plus, you have to hold the "on" switch on the entire time you're using it, otherwise it turns off!

And I'll reiterate what Sixthman said...definitely tip the porters. If not, your luggage may take a dive in the ocean, end up on the ship sans nametag (thus, you having to go find it), get "left" at the port or look as if someone used it as a soccer ball. I've met a few people that have had those scenarios happen. Goodlove, you can sign up on the ship via FunVision tv, shore excursion desk (when open) or do it online ahead of time.

LOL The TSA, government, airlines or NOBODY else can possibly tell you what kind of underwear to wear! Yikes. As far as tips go, I'm a Travel Agent, and Carnival actually has an option whereby you can pre-pay the gratuities. They suggest $10 per person per day and that covers the bell staff, the cabin staff and the dining staff (waiter and maitre d)...so thats a good rule of thumb. If you don't pre-pay them, then I suggest sticking $30 (three day cruise, right?) in an envelope and putting it in your safe for the last day. Wish I was going on this one, but alas it was not in the cards for me...You guys will have a BLAST! I can't wait to hear all about it! *~Laila~*

And, Laila, it was on one of the official sites (I've been on TSA, Delta and our local airport tonight) and I just wanted to double-check with someone who'd recently flown. The restriction was on the metal in the underwire, not the bra itself. The documentation Sixthman sent out says "All of the port fees and customary tips for your room steward and dining room staff have been pre-paid and were included in your cabin price."
