not true - daughters '05 with pino & steve was full-length and it was not part of a montage. last year really would have been the year to give him his own spotlight, what with 5 nods and 2 wins. but this year, his performance made sense. most people didn't even know that the village sessions came out, so it was pretty damn cool that john was nominated for something off of that.

that said, i really liked john's performance on this one, and chuckled to myself 'cause stevie was introducing him again.

also, i love the beatles, so woohoo to all of that earlier.

ps: the '03 grammys were so much fun to watch, with rocklove lauren saying something like, "this is the internet, not a clown car, ppl." i think there were 300 people on at once.
