You sold them to John, didn't you Ryan?monica, that would mean ryan has giant clown feet like john! i saw some picture of his shoe boxes once and those boxes definitely said 12 or 13. granted, my brother wears a 16...but he's also 6'5" so he's just proportional. you know mayer's guest house is just a giant shoe/watch/camera/guitar storage unit. couldn't he have picked something like hotel soaps to collect? much cheaper...takes up less space around the house. then he could put his money to good use by donating to my fabulously in need music classroom.

I did a quick search for this and didn't see anything that was directly related, but I found this clip about John's guitar skills from the Summer 2007
tour. Sorry if it's been posted before, but I thought it was good and figured other people may not have seen it.

ah yes...i remember trying to watch this video in an internet cafe in amsterdam. dutch keyboards (and really the entire dutch language which the computer chose
to yell at me in) are evil and i had to wait until i got back in the country to see it. that means it came out right around July 7th. i believe it came out in
conjunction with a video showing the continuum guitar john was going to give away when the tour was over.

sorry, that joke's been done a million times before. anyway, I eBayed them for $520 to some guy in Santa Monica (but John lives in L.A. doesn't he?) who knows. maybe john buys his shoes on ebay lol, but I'm 99.99999% sure those are the same ltd. edition Nikes.

So, off topic and stuff, I'm planning to do an internship in rheumatology this summer and in looking at some rheum stuff found that John is going to be
performing at a scleroderma conference in April in LA. How random! I love when school and John happen in the same sentence. Now just gotta convince the
attending to fund me to attend the dinner!

Totally random, but --- There's a website called the Hate Book where people can anonymously post things they hate - like a vent site...I read this one
today and thought of Mayer, it sounds like him when he was in high school.......
I hate how my parents don't think that music can be my career. That's what I want to do with my life, and I've already considered all of the pros and cons. I know that it will never pay well, especially if I stick to my creative morals. But I'm not doing it for the money either. Every time I go to a gig, my parents say, "Why are you pouring so much of your time and effort into something that you won't be doing later in life?" But I've already told them that I want to play music forever no matter what the pay is. So I hate how my parents think that I never think about how little music pays. I KNOW.
