I used to collect the handful of shows I went to back in the day round 2002, and my mp3s are much much better quality, such as the Lakeland 11/082002 (with the standard TWAMPSS on thejmtp.com). I'm not trying to diss anyone's recording's at all.. my question is, with Mayer's increase in venue size and other factors, have other peopls noticed a decrease in quality of recording? And because my Ambien won't fucking work and damnit I'm generous, here's an mp3 from a Tallahassee show... Anywho, if someone could shed some insight on to my question that'd be great... the most badass version of Old Love, and it was an encore John Mayer - Tallahassee, FL - 11/18/2003 - Old Love.m4a here's another one from Lakeland, Novermber 2002. Logically there will be a lower quality of audio defenition in the later shows with much larger venues. This is because of, larger crowds/eccho etc. However, it's also really dependant on where the taper stands. Take the MSG show from last year, which is still one of the best quality tapes I've heard.
