I'm really excited about this! I sent my payment last week, for two. It is a great way to help the charity and to connect with every
one!

Okay- I have received an incredibly generous offer from someone who has offered to cover the cost of the bracelets so that ALL MONEY can go to the Back to You
Fund. However, this person wants a guarantee that we can order AT LEAST 200 bracelets, so get to ordering! You do not have to be attending the Atlanta show to
order one. Show your support for John and his charity. A list of all contributors will be sent to John so that he can see how much his fans support him and
what he cares about. Click the link in my signature to buy!

I personally think this would have been ten times more successful if you had made the bracelets more generic. I think people would be more willing to buy a
bracelet that wasn't so specific to Atlanta.
Like one side "Back To You" and the other "JM" or something. I don't understand the Atlanta thing if you're trying to raise as much money as possible. I'm definitely not trying to be a downer here, so, sorry if I come off that way. Edit: I feel like an ass now. Ha. I'm sorry. I did buy an "Isaac" bracelet though, so I'm not totally heartless.

^ Sam, that's completely valid. It makes sense that if you're not going to the Atlanta show then why buy a bracelet with the date of the Atlanta show
on it? I also think something a little more general would have garnered more interest. It doesn't make you heartless in the least - I apologize completely
for not buying one, but I don't have a paypal account anymore and getting and paying the fees for a money order to mail in for a bracelet that is specific
to a show I'm not going to wasn't something I wanted to do. And I definitely don't think it makes me heartless. If something else comes up,
I'll buy two

I hear what you are saying Kristin and Sam, but the idea came to us as a way to commemorate John returning to Atlanta - where it all started - 10 years later.
So yes, it is specifically the Atlanta show we're calling out, but it's also a shout to his last ten years. How far he has come, and coming full circle
this year back to Atlanta.
We realized that more people who were going to the actual show would want them, but were hoping the charitable aspect would bring in a few more orders or donations. And it has, from some. Really, for us, it's all about giving and showing support, and in the end, we get a cool little souvenir to remind us of John's last ten years. Nobody's saying anyone's heartless...you either want to give or not give. |

^ Couldn't it have just been a 98-08 Back to You kinda deal then? I'm not trying to be factious. And it's not that I don't want to give to the
BTY fund either, it just would have been nice if it was a little more general, like Sam suggested.

Kristy - would it be too much of a stretch to go ahead and order the 200 and then sell the remainders at the show? I bet you could do that in the parking lot
ahead of time... obvs pending venue policies, etc. but seems like that would be a good way to reach a lot of ppl at the show who don't read or post here...

It's a possibility, but like you said, it may not be allowed at the venue. I can check into that, though. Hopefully we can sell more between now and the
31st so everything can be taken care of before we even get to Atlanta.
Re: making it more generic- we had to get clearance through Mick Mgmt and the company who's in charge of the Back to You Fund to even be able to use the charity's name in our message board posts, so I'm not sure if we'd have been able to get permission to have it printed on bracelets. Like Holly said, we were commemorating the 10 yr. "anniversary" of his return to Atlanta. That's always a big show, so that's why we chose it. In the end, the money's going to charity, so it'd be worth it to help out anyway, even if you're not going to the Atlanta show. |

Can I mail in a donation then? I don't have paypal anymore. Would you be able to take a check from a Canadian? I don't even know how banks convert that
sort of thing.

Kristy: I just googled about cashing checks from Canada in the US and as long as I write "US Funds" on it, they will cash it. Will you accept a
personal check?
