Okay, after reading John's Blog, i truly feel his pain in getting old. I am from the same generation, born in 76, i know how he feels. I just want to
tell him that those mutant clear hairs can be corrected very easily, and you can pull them out, it doesn't mean more will grow back. As far as being old
John, when you go to the drug store and look down into your basket and see metamucil, ben gay, tucks, and depends then your old. Or as my 40+ friends tell me
your not old until you see those mutant clear hairs in the nether regions. No matter how old you get, just remember your fans get older too, and we will
continue to go see you. Just look at Neil diamond he still has women throwing there bras on stage even though "gravity" takes over and knocks there
walkers over. Good Luck and remember your only as young as you feel

I was NOT saying we are old, i was just merely agreeing with John on, the fact that you wake up and your in your 30's which is great, but you look in
the mirror and expect to see the same face that was there when you were 19, Maybe i shouldn't have posted a thread about it, according to jojo, but i guess
i thought it would be funny to see how many 30+ feel the same, and as far as who i am, just another John loving fan, been to a few of his concerts, he is just
unbelievable, not to mention hot. Saw him in mansfield on 7/12, second row center, he was giving speeches about being happy and how its okay to just be happy.
I wonder if he is in Love?

Eh, I didn't really say NOT to post a new thread, just wondered WHY one would.

I the one to say. I'm certainly no mod here. But as to the topic at hand, yes, it's a fact of life. We get older, John gets older, it sucks. But I also think we all get better with age. John certainly has...thats a given.

I like how ppl jump on ppl for starting a new thread (the ironic part is they usually keep posting in said thread). It's almost as if starting a new thread
on any topic is the most taboo thing you can possibly do. I have an idea, lets have all discussions on one thread. Have a mod merge every thread here onto 1
thread, then turn off the ability to create new threads. It wouldn't even have to be "stickied" - because it would be the only thread there
anyway. That way all the chest-thumping "don't start a new thread, you dork" police can live happily ever after.. heh.

Old age is a perception. Obviously, the younger you are, the less of a case you have as the folks who are older are going to look at you crazy, but it's
perfectly normal to think you're getting old when you hit 30 (and maybe even a few years before)!

I don't think you could give me enough money to go back to the teens and early twenties..... Although I would pay loads to tell that girl a thing or two:)
and John will age nicely. He has LOADS of hair and loads of black hair just means George Clooney syndrome later, plus he got all fit a few years back and seems to lead a pretty healthy lifestyle. If JM wants to shave off a few years, you supposedly live longer when you get married if you are a man, LOL. Old means what? I mean my 80 year old grandma is "younger" than most 40 year olds I know. It's all about the way you look at it. Bend that light folks:)

oh hey is this one of those threads where it's a competition to see who is the oldest? cool!
i think despite your age you can feel "old" at times. shit, i'm 25 and i see high school kids and sort of freak out that it's been so long since i was that age. sure it may have been 29837539845 years more for someone older than me but that doesn't mean i can't have those feelings from time to time like 5 or 10 years has gone incredibly fast. EDIT TO ADD: i just saw that RY posted in this thread and didn't notice it the first time, well put.
