I think the fact that she admittedly has stage fright had something to do with her lackluster performances. And CAN YOU IMAGINE getting up there with such a talented artist in front of HIS crowd? Having stage fright myself I commend her for even performing at all, ever.

She is also a very green artist (that's what happens when people get signed straight off of myspace) most people with as little experience as her don't get to perform for such big crowds. But since it's all who ya know...she's having to learn in front of everyone.

I wish everybody would be nicer to her...I met her at SXSW and she couldn't have been sweeter. I'd much rather see Brett and Colbie then One Republic (in at Atlantic City).

well congrats to Colbie for being a nice person. But that doesn't make her a good musician. and i'm sorry...i don't care if she has stage fright. if it's that crippling, get the hell out of the business. in my opinion nothing she does is remotely new or innovative in terms of musicality and she sure can't sing outside her own little box. i just finished seeing SEVEN SHOWS IN A ROW and i could sing her setlist for you note for note because she doesn't change a damn thing about how she sings those songs. if it's a problem with being in front of a huge crowd then she needs to go on a little hotel cafe tour with some smaller artists and play places like HOB, not huge sold out pavillions/amphitheaters for one of the biggest summer tours of the year. and for the love of god, i hope she never tours with someone whose music i enjoy.
