Two of my many gems from the show...apparently Photobucket didn't like their size and shrunk them. Grr.

Paramore definitely brough the hype level up. Hayley was so amazing, she even got praise from John during his set. And of course he was phenominal. Loved the
random dancing he did all night. He was having fun so it was a good time.

Great photos! I particularly love the last one. Thanks for sharing those.
It sounds like a good show...Wheel, IDTMWLY, Belief, Vultures, etc. I would not have complained! |

Here's the video of John playing the guitar with a camera.
Got a funny story...when we were leaving the show, we noticed that the security guard at the end of our row was the same security guard standing beside me while I did patron shots in a prom dress in the disco of the MCC! He
was very flattered that we recognized him (he is in a lot of my pictures) and he introduced himself as "Butch"! He says see all y'all in Cabo.

Try comments (and now, apparently, reviews) are frequented by people of sub-simian intellect. Which sucks, because it's such an awesome site. the second
guys review, bitching about blues covers......what a fucking tard.
Oh yea, and enough topless John, I want topless Hayley!!! Clothed would do to, I suppose.
I'm Irish if that matters

Great pictures Amanda! I told my husband I didn't know why I was bothering to take pictures because yours would be better, but I felt compelled. And
oooh, I didn't know you were recording a video - great job!

this show was fantastic. i had great seats, was around great people and heard great music. got there in time to see paramore. i definitely was not familiar
with any of their music but they gave a great performance and the crowd was definitely into it. very entertaining. the entire band's energy was through
the roof. a great way to get in concert mode. from where i was sitting i saw john on the side of the stage watching paramore during their set. i spotted
his shaved head. haha i think he enjoyed them opening for him especially since he commented on them specifically during his set as well.
then john came out and got right down to business. i really enjoyed crossroads. i was also excited to hear stitched up and wheel. he seemed really relaxed. probably one of the most relaxed times i've ever seen him other than the eddie's attic shows. so relaxed in fact that he decided to do half the show without his shirt on (as i'm sure everyone by now knows). haha a friend and i were talking and are convinced john wants to be in the army. the cargo pants, the shaved head, the dog tags from a few years ago??? hahaha just kidding out of the three encore choices, he of course played the one i wanted the least but they were really all good choices. i wanted neon. it was strange not seeing dela up there. one thing i noticed is that the stage was really plain. whereas with other tours i felt like he's had the screens or boxes or something. this time it was just a lot of smoke. it was really just john and the band which i think was reflected in his song choices too. nothing showy, just whatever he wanted. i got a good chuckle before he started no such thing he said, "remember that guy?" haha there was some banter about tuesday being the longest day ever but i can't remember everything, you can check the tapes on that one. i think i saw at least one person taping. and i believe chimpat got a shout out. everyone else who still have shows to go to have a blast. out of the shows i've been to, definitely one of the best. holly |
