Normally I hate medleys, but that one was fun to watch! I tried guessing all of the different songs since he really didn't sing them, just played the
melodies....fun stuff! Thanks for sharing your videos!

The actual list of the songs from the medley is a little incorrect on tryjm so I'm going to try to clarify. The video from youtube missed the first song,
which was Clarity. So it went like this:
Clarity -> 3x5 -> Comfortable -> 83 -> My Stupid Mouth -> Back to You -> Victoria -> Love Soon -> City Love -> Wonderland -> Come Back to Bed -> Bigger -> Vultures -> Stop This Train -> Bold as Love -> In Your Atmosphere. Anyone know if there is a tape of the show out there somewhere?? I have major sadness about Taking On Water because I got it on tape but the audio on my digital camera messed up on me. The video itself is spectacular because I was in 3rd row dead center. And I was too damn excited to tape the medley. I know that Libby got most (if not all) the show on video but an audio recording of this show would be amazing. I didn't see any taping equipment but it couldn't see too far back from the front section as this venue doesn't have amphitheatre seating. |

I knew I heard STT instead of Heart of Life...
And yes, The Medley is definitely one of the 2008 Tour highlights!

I have more videos but just got back home...my DAUGHTER was the one who created the sign that got the medley going (this is the same daughter that got John to sign her hat by holding a sign up in Toronto!). Kristin had it right but good catch laran!
Why Georgia was in there too! I have the whole thing up on YouTube now. After he played Gravity, she turned her sign around and it said "I'm a
SUCKER for you John *heart*. He saw it and pointed and laughed before he went off the stage. It was a great night. I have another great story to tell but
have to save it for tomorrow!!

What a great way to end an awesome show! I loved your video!

We warned him at the meet and greet...she was holding it up and he was reading it! I was laughing the whole time! I'm surprised it isn't shaking more!
I try and tape the whole show actually but I ran out of memory so this was actually on Kelsey's camera. I'll get everything else up tomorrow. I do have
all of Taking on Water. Mercy was wicked but for some reason the video is all blurry...the sound is good though!

i believe he has played darien lake 4-5 times (with counting crows (8/12/03), with maroon 5 (8/10/04), with Sheryl crow (9/1/06), with one republic (08/22/08),
and at hsbc arena in buffalo on (4/21/07) this last show and the show with sheryl crow were two great nights at darien lake. i remember after that show he
wrote a blurb on his site that said something to the effect of "now that felt right. what a great night" the shows at darien lake are usually
great. small crowds but loud and fun. I think i may still be missing a show up there

timmy, you're absolutely correct on all the Darien Lake shows. He also played Rochester several years ago, when Teitur opened for him. That was a
wonderful show. I wish he'd play Rochester again.

The one in Toronto was spectacular. But that show wasn't taped. I believe there are videos on youtube though.
