saw Katy Perry perform this live tonight:
as much as i love the songs on her album like "i kissed a girl" and "hot n cold" i love her acoustic performances so much more
Music had been her refuge and her solace, and she had a healthy appreciation for its power to transport a person to a better place.

I went to see Tokyo Police Club last night and they had two opening acts,
The Coast from Ontario and The Whigs from Athens, GA. The Whigs were awesome. I heard
some Flaming Lips and a 60s british rock trio. I didn't have the cash to buy they're record, but I'm buying in today online.

I just watched that acoustic Katy Perry video, and CHRIST, she is good. What the hell is she doing singing generic, poppy pieces of shit like "I Kissed a
Girl"? Seriously, my jaw dropped during that performance.
