Thanks a bunch for that, I really appreciate it. I wish I could say I designed it, but I just had the idea. I went in and the man (who is college educated and extremely business like) said, "what would you like to do, Sir." I told him that I would like a touch up of the part I did design (the lotus and letters), and maybe some sort of Asian wave behind it. He said, "OK," and free handed the wave. I really love the effect on the bottom as well, it almost looks like John's wind bars. His name is Cliff Coliard and I will never get done by anyone else after having experienced his work and service. -JJ

the cool thing about water/wave tattoos is that they almost show a fluid, circular motion to it...almost flowing.
think of it as a 'wheel' maybe? i like the finished (or, almost finished...ha!) piece. |

JJ, I definitely like the edition to your "ETHT" work. It looks great, and it's got a good flow to it. I'm a big fan of waves/water tattoos.

I too like the gravity piece, it has a good rating on the "ingenuity" scale. That aside, I am sure that drewsykes would agree that it is a
comparatively "simple" tattoo as far as the actual ink and needle process is concerned.

I just got his done last week. It says 'Heavier Things' and it runs down my left side. Its my first tattoo and i couldn't think of a better phrase to have which is fitting to my life. |

I decided I will never get a John Mayer tattoo. Can't remember who said it in this thread, but it was a good point: what will you guys do if John turns out
to be some kind of pervert/pedophile/serial killer or something? I don't want to take that risk.
