Wow that's the first JM relic I've seen that I thought could be the original. I didn't compare side by side but that one's really nice!

i like it, i'd just rather have a fender one, and now that that's possible, takes the fun out of it i guess?

I'm in Canada too... if you are close enough that I don't have to get it shipped I might snag it. Where are you located?

So im getting quite a few people asking about price... I have not had the time to really think about it yet. Give me the weekend and I will post a price on
Monday after I review what I have into the project. It will not be less than $1,000, I can tell you now. Enjoy the pics, and I will be back next week. Any
questions, just let me know!

fredromaniszen wrote: still planning on it I had just found an original set of Fender Schaller Gold/pearls (the correct tuners of TBO)! was thinking about buying them (175.00) but that same day John posted about "The Black One" (the square Schallers get pretty close. I know they are the 80s versions because in the picture book of the Summer '07 tour included in the 2-disc Continuum set, it show a zoomed in close-up of the back of TBO's headstock. it show's John's sig, the words "Proto" stamped in, the tuners, Holes from where Kluson style tuners would go and the Cruz FCS Decal.) damn it all www.youtube.com/l33tm4n321

Thanks Craig, I appreciate it! I can only imagine your loathing towards Fender right now... Ha! Im sure it was fun building them at the time. Did you hang on
to at least one of them?

Yeah, you better sell it now, because it won't be worth much other than a partsocaster when the real deal hits the streets...
On second thought, you should keep it just to compare how close you got to fender's version...

I guess it all depends, do you buy a guitar for it's resale value and what is trendy or do you buy it because you enjoy it?
Don't get me wrong, if you buy it for it's resale value I may buy it I'm not hating, rather - just asking |

By the way - how do you like the "incase" gig bag? I am getting one with my latest purchase and I heard that were real strong.
