It's definitely getting crazier and crazier. Outside of finding out that Widmore was on the island, I also freaked OUT when Locke told Richard his birthday and told him to come see him if he didn't believe what he was saying. Remember when he visited Locke as a child??? Freakin' crazy small detail, but that's what I love about this show, how everything connects... -drew. The guy that was flying them was supposed to be the pilot on the original flight. Charlotte and Faraday have been on the island before. Her name is escaping me..but the chick that was killed from their crew...when she originally met with Widmore, it seemed like she knew what she was getting into.

After last night, looks like I was right. So presumably both Charlotte (daughter of Charles?) and Miles (son of Mr. Many Named Asian Scientist) were born on the island but don't know it. STILL don't understand the Constant idea. The reason Daniel doesn't get sick is that Desmond is his constant? But I don't get the exact definition of a constant? And my previous theories about the people who wanted Aaron was either that it was Widmore or Ben trying to scare Kate into coming back. Looks like it was Ben, but was it to scare her or does he really want Aaron himself for some nefarious purpose? Replacement for Alex perhaps? Loved that Jin is ALIVE!!! I love that Jin is alive, that's very cool, but Sun? Yikes, I almost thought she was after Kate at first...that poor kid in the back seat when she takes the gun out....dun dun dun! And I missed what was written on those papers she had taken out and was looking at. I must have looked down and when I looked back up she was already putting them back in the envelope__ did they show what was written on there? You can request a screencap there as well, so the content of the papers might be there. And Rea, I thought Sun had cut a deal with Widmore in previous episodes - obviously maybe to kill Ben, in exchange for ...what? Widmore saying/knowing Jin is alive and can return him to her? I thought she blamed Ben for Jin's death so it was an easy kill for her, especially if it gained her Jin. And props to the casting director for the doppelganger casting of Miles and Mr. Dharma Video Scientist! They look quite alike and I cannot quite yet discount that they may be the same actor. I had a thought that perhaps the Constant has to do with restoring Free Will to a person? Ry, if you ever want to indulge, I highly recommend the dvd's. The premiere show, 2 hours long, is one of the most riveting pieces of TV I have ever seen. And I've watched a lot of TV in my lifetime. If you don't like the first 2 hours, then you can know you'd not like the show. It just seems like they kill people off, they really seem good and dead, and yet they come back some time in the future/past. Why do I think that Locke isn't really dead? He obviously is "special" in some way with people seeing him in previous seasons and then him telling Locke that he could see him back on the island in a suit. I don't know who to trust in Widmore vs. Ben. Widmore was definitely an ass as we've seen but I've never trusted Ben. I'd appreciate some flashbacks of them together on the island to get some background if they are going to continue to whore out this story line. '

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Holly I got the feeling that Ben knew John had to die all along, either as a requirement to get back or for his own envy I'm not sure. However, he needed info from John, like who it was that knew how to get back, (Mrs. Hawking), and the info about Jin was a bonus he knew he could use as well. Also, Thomas thinks it is connected to an earlier episode when Michael tried to kill himself after coming back and couldn't. It was as if the island wouldn't LET HIM kill himself because it still needed him. Perhaps Ben knew the same thing would happen and that for Locke to die someone else had to kill him. Richard Alpert only told Locke he would die, not how or if it was by his own hand. And I'm not sure about Christian but I don't think he is supposed to be physically alive because he always seems to appear and disappear mysteriously and the reanimated Locke seems much more real and concrete than the encounters with Christian. But with all this time travel stuff and how obviously some of the 6 ended up in another time during the crash perhaps Christian has been moving through time which somehow accounts for his knowledge of happenings?
