I can't decide -Fulltone '69 (I would have to ebay it) -Fulltone '70 -Analogman Sunface -Keeley Fuzz Head -Lovepedal Karl Fuzz -MI Audio Neo There really aren't alot of good demos to be had. I want something kinda ballsy, full sounding with good bass, maybe a little on the dark side, with good sustain. I like the FuzzFace kind of Fuzz, don't know which would be the best ones in that style, though. I'm brazilian, if you'd like to know. Sorry for any english mistakes!

Every review i've read or heard say it is amazing and you can get Band of Gypsies no problem. My only hang up with the Sunface is that when you buy it, you have like a 1000 options. Mike custom builds them all to order. -Standard Ge -Standard Si -NOS Ge -NKT275 Older and newer versions, and High and low gain -Sundial Bias knob for the transistors -9v power jack? (supposedly can add noise or change tone on a Ge fuzz) -LED?! (if there is no power jack, then the LED would just suck battery) -Fuzz off switch in the fuzz knob (will I run my fuzz before or after my wah...before means I don't need this, after means I do) I'm thinking the NOS Ge, with no sundial, and the fuzz off switch...would be like 200 bucks plus shipping.

If you're looking for Hendrix type fuzz it won't be the right pedal for you. Look up videos on Youtube and you'll see the different sounds you get out of it. ------------------------------------ -pat

Posts: 236 (02/27/2009 2:19 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	you gotta check out the elite tone monster fuzz. my friend posted a demo vid of it on youtube explaining the functions. i tried it through my strat got really close to jimi-fuzz type tone . i also got a ballsy full kinda thick fuzz with it on a different setting. it's pretty versatile .

It's super smooth. There's also a youtube vid of a guy playing the Analogman NTK Sunface with a Bassman and Strat in a pub that's insanely cool.

Can nail all of Hendrix's sounds, and its super creamy and not harsh. Its my fave pedal. On the neck pickup its really thick and phat sounding but it also sounds amzing on the bridge pickup. Has finally made my bridge pickup useable!

The BC108 Silicon or a Germanium? Stock pups in an American Standard are bad, my bridge was totally unusable also. You can get one from General Guitar Gadgets to build for s fraction of the cost to buy the Fulltone. By the way, fuzz tones is a really fun journey.

I've only ever soldered strat pickups, not sure how I would do with little transistors and shit. But it would be really fun getting it to work and then having a custom stompbox.
