Did anyone notice that the sleeve of the cd that came in the top secret box is actually wild flower seeds. it says in very small print you can soak it in
water and plant it in your garden
now that is worth some carbon footprint money right there.

that was my suspicion when i saw the pictures, debbie. i know they make greeting cards that are plantable. very cool. i got one from a teacher when i graduated
from high school and he signed the card something like 'plant this card to remember all the fun we had in company (the drama club).' yes, i was one of
those nerds that got cards from her teachers...

I saw that, too, Debbie. Thought about planting it but then I remembered that I quickly lose interest in plants, I don't garden, and I like to keep CD
covers. My CD also skips, which is annoying since I just put it in today.

I noticed that about the CD cover too, but I also have no desire to plant any flowers because I would simply kill them! I want to keep the cover as a keepsake
anyway, but it's a neat thing for them to do with it!
ONE WEEK FROM TODAY....we'll be on the boat!!!!!!

kristyciera wrote: You don't garden? You poor thing, you don't know what you are missing! Do yourself a favor and just get into it. Buy a Master Gardening book from the book store and find out which plants grow in your region. I promise you, there is nothing like working with dirt and flowers. I've been living in a drought in Georgia for the past few years but, before that my 25 vases were filled with roses and wild flowers every summer (during droughts the flower production is next to nil). Plant those wild flowers! Go to the store and get some good soil and just put them in a pot, and water ever day in the summer months. Gardening is better than therapy! And, you lose a ton of weight doing yard work (that's why lawn boys always have those hot bods). You should put out a pretty bird bath, bird feeders and some bird houses too. Birds are the next best thing to plants.

well I am going to give them to my granddaughter to plant, she will adore the concept and the process of soaking and planting. It's all magical to
her...We just started her a vegatable garden, she checks it every morning, when you are almost 4 things grow slowly, but the strawberries are up and the
carrots came up yesterday...so this will be fantastic...so okay asspoo I will bite, thanks Mayer, it was a great idea. I am sure I will get email updates on
the boat...
I see the DRH wine tasting is full and the two yoga classes... can't wait to just get on the boat and see some music here. we have had a bit of a drought in music here lately. debbie there came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt

I tried strawberries one year and it didn't really work. I got very little production. Could have been the drought because I watered by hose and I think
plants really like rain water best. But, is there a trick to strawberry plants I don't know about? Mayer related: he likes strawberries.

I have no idea, I plant and don't understand the process... I am a zen gardener. I plant, whatever comes up, comes up... and then I sit there
amazed...set up a drip system and it's california so strawberries come up like weeds...just have to keep netting over them so the birdies don't attack
and lots of water..
I am happy to hear that Mayer loves them... they are not quite ripe here, but I am sure where the new studio is they have fields of them.. he should be a happy camper in the next month. debbie there came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt

docoboc wrote: Nice! No zen gardening in Georgia. We lost our top soil during the plantation days. All we have is red clay. We actually have to go to the store every year and buy top soil before we can plant anything! We have to fertilize everything throughout the summer too. We even have to buy sod for our lawns, we can't grow grass! It's a lot of work to garden around here. The only thing that grows like a weed here are weeds. |

My Sixthman message is on the answering machine, so I can listen to it over and over again if I want.
I did a vegetable garden with my kids last year, but we were not very good at watering it! We forgot all the time...when we did remember, we would have to be sneaky due to the water ban in Georgia last year. Maybe we'll try the garden again this year, but I'm saving my CD cover because it's just too cool. |

My weeds are mostly wildflowers. Several years ago, when my backyard was a big dirt pile I scattered wildflower seed and they won't give up,
especially the poppies! I think I'd rather save the CD sleeve for it's memento value.
