i can't wait until they do a "behind the music" or whatever on that show in 20 years so we can see how rigged it really is. there's no way these people get to choose their own songs and arrangements. it must be so stressful to be told to sing a song you know sucks, only for the "judges" to tell you what a horrible selection it was. like they really have free reign to do anything they wanted. i honestly don't see any of them being huge radio stars. there's some talent, but no one that blows me away. none of them offer any uniqueness. i mean, really liked david cook, but you barely hear anything about him anymore. i hear his one song on the radio every once in a while, but that's it. there isn't even any gossip about him anymore. he's good, but he doesn't stand out in the bigger picture. adam is unique when it comes to contestants on the show, but to me he's just a rip off of about 10 people all rolled into one flamboyant mofo. i'd say in order of who i think will leave the show first, megan, michael, lil, anoop, scott, Allison, kris, Matt and then the finals will be between danny and adam with me really rooting for matt or danny, but realistically thinking adam will probably win. the teenies just eat him up. sadly in about 3 yrs they'll all look back and laugh at themseleves for thinking he's so "dreamy." although it is american idol, and aside from Allison who's too young to have already tried and failed, if they were really original they would have made it by now and wouldn't need idol /rant

i'll never make a vow like that, only because i don't watch idol for the value it offers, because it doesn't really offer anything other than entertainment. people like adam are entertaining. vowing never to watch it again makes it sound like you respect it as a serious source of music and that's just silly. just take it for what it is, that's what i do! i always say that it's ok to watch it, just don't vote. then you're crossing a line!
