Hmmm...I didn't see anyone doing that. I was too busy running around like a friggin' idiot in a Nacho Libre mask. If I had the courage I would post the picture of me and my best friend posing with Brendan James in our mexican wrestling masks after we scared the living shit out of him in the flea market. It was funny at the time. Actually he thought it was very funny too. He was a great guy, so sweet. We had a great time with him. I was at that Billygan's place too, but uh, I was passed out in the back for most of the time...hence the dawning of my new nickname, Crispy Bacon. I took a spill in the hallway on the way back to our cabin, but somehow managed to shower once I got inside! Then I took a "nap" for a few hours, but I did make it to John's standup routine. I remember 'Africa' by Toto, one of the times he yelled "You will dance to whatever I say you will dance to!" and also a lot of Michael Jackson/Jackson 5, which was awesome. It all made for very fun dancing, but Mayer needs to work on his mixing skills.

Kinda sucks for those of us who weren't there. I mean, I remember Sixthman saying not to videotape the Q&A last time, but people were freely taping during shows. All these stories that I'm hearing for the first time even tho I was there__quite hilarious! I had no idea about the chick passing out and that's why we were delayed getting off! hahahaha Douche bag...you'd think by that age people learn their shit! Luckily I had no plane to be on, just the hour and a half drive home. Still trying to upload my pics and vids...and I'm still a-rockin too__damn that was a rough last day at sea and I've been on dozens of cruises in my day...never had such a rockin boat before...kinda added to the craziness! So nice to have met so many great people, some on here, some not but I had a wonderful time and would do it again in a heart beat! John was in rare form, and so were the rest of the band and other artists...it was really cool to meet Carl and James, (the comedy was hilarious!) hang and joke with David, Robbie, and some of the other artists as well: got to meet Martin Sexton, the guys from Guster and OAR, the dudes from Stars Go Dim were nice and they were so happy to be on board and playing. Met Justin Nozuka, really really nice kid and his shows were great! Jessie Baylin and a couple of the kids from her band as well...fun fun fun! I can't seem to get back to reality...alas I am at work in body, but in spirit I'm still on the boat! Will try to post some pics and vids eventually...although I'm sure Cait's and Monica's and others show pics will be way better__ it was tough not being able to use the flash at the show. Good times! So the house is still rocking but I can think somewhat straight now...have a few shows tracked and ready to send. oh and in my best Mom..I told you so voice?.... next year people take the meclazine...The boat rocked, the waves sloshed, at one point I was sliding from one end of my bunk to the other as the drawers flew open...however I never felt nauseated once..you can drink like a fish on that stuff and still be just fine..yeah the wine tasting..again my apologies to david... so sorry, we will all be signing up under false names next year just so we can do it again... and we promise to store food in our cabin so we never again come with empty stomachs...but like Lez and Kelly said 2 and 5..oh my god and I don't even like wine... This boat..wow, just wow. I cannot see how he is ever going to top this..maybe it was just the total "so much easier, better, calmer, than last year...maybe it was... I happened to be in all the right places at the right times...I have no idea..but a huge shoutout to sixthman for all they did to IMPROVE this time around...You guys totally rocked it... I just saw the survey in my box and this time I am going to have to really think if there was anything I would change... And to tell you the truth, I was thrilled to see as many security guards as they had. I know they can be a pain but after last years show, where I was in the second row and only saw his forehead if that...damn they did a great job... We are veterans of several rock boats and then both Mayercrafts and all of us will be back again next year... we had two cabins of three each and we planned this like an offensive... I tape and Cait and Lez can both handle a recorder...luckily both of them are amazing with a camera. Kelly is the glue that holds us all together in giggles... the rest, well we just all work..I am so old for this group but somehow I love that they let me be in their circle... I was sorry to read I want to fall asleep say she was too old...I have a few years left I hope and I bet I am older than you... but the girls actually got me in the disco the last night( I missed that whole era ladies was having carpools and bmx races then)... and after about 20 minutes and a few drinks I went back to my cabin to die..hey I made it to 3:45 am several nights in a row...poor John the way he looked at that Q&A I have no idea how he was awake enough to button his shirt, wait he didn't... anywho, we signed up for both main shows...and were so lucky to get the same table same seats right under David's nose and again thank you to all the women around us for screaming at the appropriate places, I never expect quiet or even want it, that would be weird..but there is a place for a screamed "you make me so wet John" and in the middle of slow dancing is def not it and there is a place for conversation and picking up random women at the top of your vocal range..I mean if you are not going to listen to the music at all???(lido show) take a step back and let people who would like to hear the actual music .....soooooo...just for the shows was happy to be surrounded by people who want to hear the music... and were just all having a wonderous time..I loved what john said about being happy to be in a place where everyone was truly there to hear him...made my night... so we planned one good photographer at each show, one taper and one tiny dancer..we split up the jobs so well. and so we got great tapes great pictures and all had an amazing time. and of course wanted to see James Smith..although I might say vary the set a bit...hearing the same bit 3 times, I had a hard time giggling the third time around...when you play before David you know you are going to get the same audience... but regardless...we were def in the right place on this boat...didn't miss a thing..saw the short shorts, saw the OSE, saw the comedy show standup, saw the Q&A, soundcheck, management forum,( thank you Cait for suggesting we go... one of the most entertaining things, very informative... ) never saw Guster or OAR, except at the OSE but Martin Sexton, Brandon James, Hunter was amazing, oh my god so good, so wished for a Jam with John on that one. Matt Hires needs a lot more work... but maybe someone liked him... wasn't impressed with Pictures and Sound.. Cabo was fun, the margaritas were soooooo good all ok I lost count however when I saw Monica I felt much better...and yes I was surprised to see Monica standing up the next day... teehee so all in all I feel very very blessed..if I could never go to another show ( I never said that I am now finding wood to knock on) I really could say I would be okay... the new songs were amazing, just looove the direction...I told Cait after the first show..Okay forget what I said about not wanting another Continuum tour...if it was like what we saw on the boat here is my credit card..just go for it John.... I only hope he can understand that whatever his time frame is, however long it takes him to be happy with what he is doing... Just go for it...take your time..I think we who love his music can wait till it is right for him, however long it takes... Like I always say, he has never dissapointed me..maybe I scratch my head, but dissapointed... NEVER! I will post about the shout out later, maybe after I get the tape upped...I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that he actually found me in the balcony with a spot light and...fuck..just totally mind boggling.. so..let's just do it again next year what only 365 days...I need that to recover... debbie there came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt every heartbeat in the room & after that he never forgot he was part of something much bigger...Brian Andres

Wow, I was just SO impressed with them, and with Andy personally. I met him last year after one of my friends had an 'incident' and he was super nice then. He topped himself this year by being so incredibly gracious when my friends told him it was my bday--he told them where to be and when, we got into the 2nd show, and then of course the bday shout-out from John in the disco. Before my friends had even talked to Andy, Sixthman had sent a bday gift up to my room...just thought that was all so sweet because as a mom, ya never expect anyone to even bat an eye on your birthday, it's just another day. But birthday aside, I just felt they did a top-notch job all the way. And I agree I'm glad security was better this year. We were in the 1st/2nd rows on night one and I was glad to have space and not get ridiculousy mobbed like last year. There was a security guy standing right next to us, next to the stairs for the entire show. At the 2nd DRH show one of the security guards was being a bit of a dick, but I can't really blame him, as I was surrounded by the 2 sleazy looking drunk girls front and center and just like the security guard, I was pretty sure they wanted to run up on the stage and jump DRH (well, they pretty much told me so, ugh). They drove me nuts for the whole show and I had to try very hard to block them out...

Cait were those the same girls that hung up the boat?..looked about the same... debbie on a side note, I saw David's wife giggling at them from back stage... those are the kind of women that give us all a bad name. there came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt every heartbeat in the room & after that he never forgot he was part of something much bigger...Brian Andres

At that show I was wearing my JM hat backwards--I was NOT one of the stupid slutty girls, lol. OMG normally I do not give a frick what people think about me but all I could think about at that show was "Jesus I hope people do not think I'm with these idiots" because they insisted on standing on each side of me. Although, lmao, I think I hardly looked like the type to fit in with them. I had the worst headache in the world when I came out of that show because those idiots bathed themselves in perfume like 10 times DURING THE SHOW. They just kept pouring it on. Good God. And the one girl just kept talking and talking to me the whole show--I finally just started ignoring her and looked straight ahead whenever she said something to me. I have to say it definitely took away from my experience at the show. Did I look pissed and miserable??? Fortunately I just happened to be in that same exact spot for the first DRH show...much more enjoyable! Teri
