I just remembered that I woke up from a really bad dream last night and said out loud "F**K all
THAT!" And then fell asleep and fought back.

I am going on the record here to predict that Demi Lavato will be the opener the next time he tours...
somehow I just get that feeling... debbie

if that's the case, i'll be drunk in the parking lot a lot during next tour's opener. providing i have a real job by then. otherwise i'm
getting a lot of concert calls!

What is with all the Disney kids? Speaking of that, I am seeing Taylor Swift, Jane's Addiction, Nine Inch Nails, and hopefully Eddie Vedder in a span of
one week in June. Which one of those things is not like the others, which one just doesn't belong?

I was worried it would be Taylor Swift since he had mentioned her earlier. Went to the Bruce Springsteen concert last night. I hope John has that much energy
at that age. Three non-stop hours and I mean NON-STOP. The whole time I kept thinking how nice it would be to have three hours of non-stop JM. I do like
John's banter though.

I think those of you without kids are totally missing out on some good music. I know when I was young it was tough to find a singer or band that wrote their
own music and played their own instruments. Most of the music of the 80s was backed by some svengali and real talent be damned.
I think Demi Lavato would be an excellent choice for an opener. She's about as real as a 15-16 yr old girl can get, writes her own music, plays her own instruments and totally rocks out. She reminds me of a younger Hayley from Paramore (which I believe is one of her major influences). Sorry for the tangent, but I really hate music elitism. Sorry.

I had no idea who she even was...or that she was 15 or 16.. I wasn't being elitist I merely mentioned the fact that she , because he talked about her,
could be the next opener...
and the children in my family are into Dan Zanes...Now that is an act that could open for Mayer any time...
I have to admit there are very few female singers I really like...I think that is sexist not elitist... debbie

I have to chime in here...
Miley Cyrus? Decent voice, riding industry coattails. Jonas Bros? This generation's NKOTB, but more diverse. A little annoying. Demi Lovato? Probably has the chops to be a harder-edge rock singer...for a female that's unusual. However, she needs to get out from the Disney machine, and I think she knows it. And most of the other kiddies we see on Nick and Disney are probably very talented, but need to make the transition a LOT better than some of the last generation. (See: Lindsay Lohan.) The bar is up a notch from the last generation but they are still manufactured teen stars. The smart ones will evolve and find a way into adulthood. I am impressed with the fact that they seem to have a hand in writing their own songs, but they still write like...15 and 16 year olds. Which is what they are. If they are still writing and recording like this ten years from now... ugh. As long as there are no rumors floating about... because let's face it, these girls are half his age, and underage, and just.... eeeeeewwww!
She's the wisest pony in all of Ponyville.

Yep the tabloids are already turning this sleazy...I mean I thought her response was just so 15...so cute... OMG
and what a huge compliment and what a huge high to her for John to do that...very sweet...of course that is not how it is being spun and that is just really sad. and true about this comment. I am impressed with the fact that they seem to have a hand in writing their own songs, but they still write like...15 and 16 year olds. Which is what they are. which is why they do not resonate with me..., a little more maturity...I need a little more in the way of lyrics...I think her voice is fine for what it is but not my taste until she grows up a bit. I was disappointed to hear Colbie say this is the way I write and I don't intend to change as I mature... I am sure that will change..well I hope so debbie there came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt
every heartbeat in the room & after that he never forgot he was part of something much bigger...Brian Andres
