Total random: I saw BB King last night. If you get a chance to see him on this tour, I think he's really winding down. I only saw him about a year ago and the change is obvious. He talks more than he plays, and his guitar player does most of the heavy lifting, but he's still a legend and when he breaks into a growly Blues vocal right in the middle of a story, it's unmistakeably BB. He's got a new song: "Do me one favor, keep my grave swept clean when I'm gone." He stayed to sign a bunch of stuff after, someone had one of his first album covers which he thought was really cool.
Lucas Nelson, Willie's son, opened. It was sort of high school talent show, acid flashback, hard blues rock, with a little Willie thrown in. Seems to be a decent guitar player, played with his teeth and behind his head. Most of us couldn't figure out what was going on but BB likes him.

there came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt
every heartbeat in the room & after that he never forgot he was part of something much bigger...Brian Andres
