Mine is a Screwdriver Deluxe. Marc at Skreddy, offered this and changed the internal trim pots to external controls. Same one as the little purple one you've seen. I've gone back and forth between this and a couple of others in the same vein and in the end the SD was just the best overall pedal. BTW, the blue unmarked one is a TAE "YATS" or "Yet Another Tube Screamer". Great TS pedal made by a guy over on thegearpage.net.

Now, now. Not just TGP, but HC, TDPRI, FDP, BJFE, Dr. Z....... Thanks ivy. The board has just a ridiculous number of OD's and delays and I haven't plugged it in yet. I might just have a ton of tone suck. Bottom line is next week it should be down to 2-3 OD's and 1 or 2 delays. Hopefully I will move it to a smaller board also.

I generally like the delay to be after the distortion pedals. You can put the chorus after the delay but if you want the chorus to delay too don't. If you put the chorus before the delay, you'll delay the chorused signal which might be the most desirable situation. With effects like that you gotta experiment though. Sometimes they sound better in illogical places. Oh and the CS3 can be moved around to do lots of things. In another thread I started about the Keeley Compressor, some guys outlined different ways you can use a compressor.

What do you think is the main difference between modded and stock BD-2s? I've got a stock one and talked to a guy that knows how to make the Keeley mod. I'm brazilian, if you'd like to know. I don't know what the original one is like, i was just recommended to buy the keeley modded one... but it is a GREAT pedal. I used to use my BD as a clean boost before i had the katana, with the level at 12, and gain at 9.. worked great. But i really wanted to use it for its overdrive, so i purchased the katana which is AWESOME. -Al My YouTube Channel

I bought one already modded from keeley a while back. best pedal I ever bought besides my Keeley TS-808

And it does sounds a bit like a Fuzz. And it's way too trebly sometimes... It took me a while to learn how to use it. I already love it, but I'm almost sure I'll have it modded. Btw, what would be the difference between the Katana and another clean boost, like that white MXR one? I'm brazilian, if you'd like to know. Sorry for any english mistakes!
