Hey Guys - I acquired an OMJM last month and love every aspect of it. I love it so much, that I would love to get another (or OM-28JM...wishful thinking), that

I was FIVE MINUTES LATE on an OMJM I was eyeballing - the guy wrote back and told me he had sold it right before I committed to it. oh well! My search
continues - I'm still looking if anyone has any information!

I gig with the current one at least 4 times a week and it has and will continue to have regular wear and tear. The specs of the guitar fit my needs - I like
the scale, nut width and neck shape. Since a custom order would be a lot more $ than another OMJM, I'd like to have one that I can keep around the house
and studio.

try a blueridge br-163, almost identical specs of the om-28jm, except for the englemann spruce top and ebony fingerboard. Everything else is the same. Greg
Rich designs, modeled after the martin pre-wwII specs. Damn close sound from even the guys over at umgf.com

what exactly is the difference between OMJM and om-28jm, which are used on which songs....alson, whats the difference between the marting I have with the
normal headstock, and the one i saw John playing for Why Georgia one time where it reads "CMF" horizontally, and the M goes vertically spelling
"marting" ?

The most noticeable differences are of course the cosmetic ones. The OM-28JM has more 'bling' and that pilot symbol for 12 hours (triangle with the
dots) on the 12th fret. The OM-28JM also has a dovetail neck joint as opposed to the OMJM with the MT neck joint. Also the bracing pattern is different. And I
don't know if this is completely true, but I read that the premium wood used for the OM-28JM is better than the wood used for the production of the OMJM. I
don't think John Mayer ever used the OMJM. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, he only uses the OM-28JM.
