If it's acoustic, the sides will come off. The rain slips into the wood and seperates it.
If it's electric, you'l need new everything, except neck and body. All the hardware will rust. jk lol. I think mostly just the finish will be screwed up, possibly. Depends how wet it got. "Cats are cute. But kittens are cuter." -John Mayer |

It was an acoustic. It wasn't a downpour, but it wasn't a sprinkle. Not too much rain got into the soundhole, but the neck and body got pretty wet.
