A $900 pedal becomes more about the player instead of the pedal.

I guess you're right. I'm at a point where only a certain amount of "Boutiqness" could improve my tone. Personally I couldn't see
spending more than a couple of 100 on a pedal, but then again I'm not a touring musician at the moment

I'm sure once you get this thing home you'll be like, "Ok I get it, its worth $900". Haha.

tha'ts awesome
a pedal that forces the guitar player to be good enough to make use out of it. i woudl be up for that challenge. haha. |

Part of me wants to get it to try it out. If I knew I could get $900 back if I sold it I would do it in a heartbeat... Sometimes I hate my practicality.

Is that the one Mayer was (maybe) using for Crossroads?
I don't know anything about Pete Cornish pedals.
I'm brazilian, if you'd like to know. Sorry for any english mistakes!

Yes it is.

And if it's the pedal he's using here for this tone, I'm even more tempted. I love this tone. Sounds almost like a saxophone sometimes. I love the way it spits off each note. Fantastic. |

Sounds really really good.
I wouldn't pay those 900 dollars, but it sounds awesome

Definitely sick tone in the "side tracked" video. I like that setting more than the setting he used for the "By Myself" concert on
Crossroads.

Hey guys,
from my own use of the fuzz, i'd say it's in Sidetracked. I also questioned the money when I bought it, but it's an awesome thing, as has been said, only can appreciate once you have used it a few times. I'm not bothered if I sell it or not, actually kind of hope I don't

Any idea if he uses it for the Bold as Love solo? (the studio version, from Continuum)
I never noticed it was a fuzz pedal there, but it sounds a lot like one

Does anyone know if there's another Fuzz pedal out there which achieves a similar tone that doesn't cost a million dollars?
