Not yet... And given the graphics and how it fades at the rounded edges - I'm thinking silk or screen print

For a single color single pattern it's not that bad to do by hand - although I haven't tried - it's been a method that I've wanted to play
with. Basically - it's the same as doing a t- shirt. It would be a ton easier with a commercial screen printer. I haven't been thru the pics that I
have to double check assumptions. Just to me the edges of the lettering are less than 100% crisp which is what's leading to the assumption that it's a
commercial printing method. I could be totally wrong.

...what the hell... I would have thought he would have played something from the mayer family of tunes. at least he can play though. I'd be pissed if this
thing was won by some n00b with no experience... like one of these losers:
I would like to add that I AM NOT in that video. so no cracks along those lines lol... pretty sure that was cait in the first 5 seconds. |

Nicosi,
I'm retracting my original statement... the lettering wraps the rounded body edges, and the top contour would be a little tough to get to turn out properly with a screen, so its likely a template. Oops. Pics once I get this damned IE 8 settings figured out. EDIT - okay screw IE8, back to Firefox and all its weirdness. Here's the pics. Silk screening works best on the flattest surface possible, and a strat body is most definitely not that. just a guy named john

marlow wrote: Yeah. Nice pics. Thanks for sharin'. I agree, its definitely some technology as opposed to just good old handmade method. Seeing those pics I imagine its stunning in person. I think I would have to settle for doing some of my own designs. Remember that Heavier Things strat I was obssessing about? Well ,still just a plan. I think I never had time or much funds for it. I even came up with pages and pages of other designs. I'd upload one page for fun. |

Ouch, anybody noticed the near awful space at the side between the neck and body or neck pocket/ joint? Its the last picture. It made it look like a latina
strat.
