I was wondering what kind of things to look out for when buying a wah? There's just so many. I'm particularly concerned about how each wah sounds different from each other, and their usability. Oh, and what makes the price so significant between them. edit: oops, just spotted another thread on it, but i'll be willing to post all of the different wah properties in the OP. Wahs are very much an individual choice. I went through several before I found what I really liked. I had an RMC-2, and a Keeley modded Vox, but just didn't get into them, especially for what I paid. I settled on the Crybaby Classic and haven't looked back. I'm also not much of a wah guy. I think it's a bit overdone, so it's rarely on my board. It's just up to your ears.

I forget what else, I sold it a long time ago. It was the Clybe McCoy model.

I htink i'm looking for a more bassy sound (i think), but also might want to have both extremes. I will go check it some of the pedals at guitar center, but as usual here they aren't properly maintained.
