on friday, we'll have the first vote to select the top 5, then we'll have another vote to have the final song selection and then begin breaking down
the song.
also post what instrument you ALL THAT YOU CAN play, and highlight what you prefer to play. This is in case we run into an instrument crisis and need someone to fill in certain parts. Also, leading and backing vocals would be nice to have. If you do backing vocals with an instrument, we'll work that out somehow. |

Maybe you should get a backing track and than people would just record the solos.
If one backing track isn't enough, you can always have more jams (over the same BT, maybe)
I'm brazilian, if you'd like to know. Sorry for any english mistakes!

Instruments available:
- Takamine acoustic x 2 - Clapton Sig strat - Mayer Sig strat - Drumkit (Pearl) - Amp(s).. Recording: - Laptop (Advice on software?) - I do have michrophones/cables for the whole kit (and the guitar I guess) but don't know about getting it all on tape.. Sure i'll try to participate, I play guitar And wouldn't the easiest to start out with, just a 12 bar blues, that everyone can play a little solo over. I think a whole song might be too complicated, when we're first trying out

You'd probably need some sort of order, if everyone tires to solo it would just be death, or sound like my singing ability. It sounds like a cracking idea
and if it all works properly will sound fantastic. I think a a Hendrix tune like Little Wing, that has room for alot of instruments (there are alot of
versions) is a good idea.

I thing Voodoo Child is not a good song to jam on the net, it's the kind of song that you must play LIVE and have contact with others musicians to make it groove, harder or quiter during the song.. Bold As Love isn't a good choice too, a great song (surely my fav from hendrix) but it's not a "jam" song for me ! Just my opinion =) Crossroads, I Don't Need No Doctor, Every Day I Have The Blues all those bluesy stuff would be cool =)
