Hey not sure if anyone will be interested but I just bought a 1950's Maton acoustic off Ebay here in Aus. Not sure how it will play or sound but it does
have a truss rod so thats a start lol, (I haven't received it from the buyer yet). I wanted it caus it will match my mini Matons finish which I can't
get enough of! I'm gonna contact Maton as well to have a chat about the value, the value if I had it repaired through them and a couple of other things.
But I do love how beat up it looks

thats before the little keyhole kinda thing in the headstock, nice find man, im jealous

Yeh mate I can't to get it, i've never played anything that vintage before. The keyholes are in some maton headstocks and not on others, just depends
on the model. I'm a fan of the keyhole headstocks but I reckon they look cool
