just my 2 cents cuz its late and i need something to do. ive owned the ts 10, zen, bd 2, and pork pie for overdrive pedals, and a keeley boost, i kept the keeley , ts 10, bd. the blues driver and the ts 10 both have their own voice can get great different sounds out of both must haves. the pork pie can sound like about anything but i'm not really in to all the opening the thing up and tweaking and it lacked a little something for me when i played live with it, prob more my fault than the pork pie though. the zen has a unique voice that not super mayerish and requires alot of time tweaking to get your sounds. the zen is a really loud pedal, well made too. it think i would have fell in love with it more if i had had my les paul when i had the zen, seems more like a humbucker pedal or something. then with the keeley boost you can kick both the ts 10 and bd into a different zone that sounds good, or taking the amp just before breakup and hitting that on. only thing is the two rock with a strat takes some serious volume to get that natural breakup with a strat becuse every gig for me i had my amp mic'd so i never felt like i got my favorite tones when i've playd with it live. however for some reason i just cant get dead on with the tone of slow dancing outro solo on where the light it, other than the player mayer vs me, it does lack a little something that could just be hes running multiple mps and cabs to get that. But to some up back to topic, should prob find one ts sounding pedal and one with a little diff of sound like the bd 2 and a boost and i find i can get all my sounds. the mistake i made was that i was trying to get to many pedals to get some more gain at lower volumes so i sold and couple and got a les paul witch has that gain tone i need sometimes. better tactic i think than trying to make a scooped mid strat pickup sound like a les paul haha. anyway hope this helped, plus i've learned the audience doesn't really notice the suddle diff in pedals like pork pie vs ts 10, they are listening to the entire mix so at the point its what pedal does the job for sitting ur YOUR bands mix. just trying to put it in perscpective, took me awhile to get that. a good sound board mixer can make the mix sound 10x better than upgrding a pedal just a thought. i guess i feel like if someone is running good sound i'm going to sound great, regaurdless of weather i hit the bd 2 , or ts 10 or just volume boost later
