while this vaccination could be a good thing, i don't think they should be pushing it so hard this early. they need to see how it works over time and really make sure there aren't any problems that they didn't foresee before they REQUIRE girls to get such a vaccination. i know some friends who have already gotten this, but i'm honestly very hesitant and probably won't get it for a while.

i totally agree. i actually like the idea of this vaccine, and even making it an opt-out mandatory thing once the medicine has been THOROUGHLY proven and extensive studies on side effects (especially potential harm to developing 11 and 12 year old bodies) have been performed.

can i also just say that i hate when people use the "oh! no way! this will make kids want to have pre-marital sex more!" argument?

let me tell you something. nothing makes a more compelling argument for pre-marital sex than boobs and hormones. NOTHING.
...or at least that's what my other personalities tell me.
