so there isn't too much more to say that the lovely and eloquent erika hasn't said already, but i would like to make a few comments.

erika, i thought we weren't going to tell everyone about the girl in the wheelchair? haha i felt bad. however, i made it a point to make sure she could still see. we might as well throw out there that we chatted it up with the mom of the opening band's drummer. i mean, why not? she was fun.

the show was great. quite a variety in the styles of music he played. drh mixed it up with slow and upbeat songs throughout the set. he encored with one song that could only be described as a techno, psychadelic jam. very interesting.

so let the record state, i enjoy dela so much. he's just a cool guy. just there for the music and in his own little world, grooving and bouncing around. so of course i had to dig out my 'dela says hi' sticker. don't hate. as already stated there was much deliberation as to whether we wanted to be 'the picture girls' but dela is so freakin' nice, he was more than happy to take a moment for us.

however, if you're thinking about trying to talk to scotty crowe when seeing drh, you might want to re-think your plans. i can already tell you he's way too busy taking pictures and finding new ways to style his hair. sorry guys.

the mission was completed and we had fun. go see drh!

everyone knows the 'good side' is the 'dela side' at concerts,
holly

p.s. if jj, dela and creepster lovejoy are suddenly either known as 'The News - Part 2' (a la Huey Lewis) or 'The Berries' remember you heard it here first.
