l33t.. Here's mine - all AM parts, CS '69s. I'm painting up 2 more bodies right now, but its going to take a month and a half before they're 'done'. I haven't decided yet whether or not these will just be bodies and plastic or the full guitar, nor have I figured out the price point that I want to set these at.

That same website that you posted for the proto had a nice background story on the Monty in there as well. I'll fill you in, but it would be better if you could do a little digging. Try photobucket, flikr, or just do a google image search... The search function in here isn't the greatest - but this has been covered and recovered. Youtube has a pile of videos of people sound-testing their builds as well. I'm just offering a bit of free advice, here - eventually - you're going to get bagged on for not doing research and just going post-happy in here. The answers are out there - trust me.

There's only 1 person on the board that I know of that has one of the 210. The rest are builds.

in 1997 they commissioned Pamelina-H (did a lot of other custom builds for Fender) to do an homage guitar to the one that Hendrix painted, played and set on fire in sacrifice to the guitar gods in 1967 at the Monterey Pop Festival - his first 'debut' concert after returning to the states from England. That concert changed music, and one move cemented that moment in history (he'd done it before, smashing and torching guitars on stage in London - but nobody over here really followed that at the time).

The original looked like this.

The thumbnails that Rockon posted are of one of the original 210, and from image research that most of the builders in here are doing in an endless quest for making their next build perfect. At least that's my obsession with all of this. The pictures that he posted after that are from his build.
