you think of a place where snow falls maybe once every ten years as being christmas-y and full of holiday spirit?

taken from an article i found published in 2006 (so MAYBE it's snowed since then):
The last recorded snowfall in Los Angeles happened on January 22, 1962, when the city got only a trace. The heaviest recorded snowfall was about a third of an inch, in January 1949.

perhaps the holiday spirit bit is negotiable but i need snow. i've spent christmas in California and it rained and then it was about 65 degrees...people were shivering in their sweaters and UGG boots and my whole family just looked like lunatics because we were in our shorts and flip flops.

I was being sarcastic.
