You've already got three overdrives Will. Yes there are many out there that make many different sounds, but come on. I guess its fine if you're in a big experimental stage and will be thinning that out at some point. But I caution people to not be the kind that only gets one sound per pedal, or knows a little bit about how to use each pedal. I recommend giving pedals some serious time, and learning all of what each are capable of doing. My personal opinion, you dont need the Sparkle Drive, TS10, and BD-2 all at the same time. Those three will bleed together at points.

The RC20 loop station I highly recommend, or at least some sort of looper. I have that particular one, and it changed my life. Its an amazing practice tool and I use it live extensively.

THe univibe type pedal is a cool thing. There are several different options on that. You can use one for a subtle chorusy type tone that gives a little bit of organic -ness to your tone, or you can do more extreme uses with it like Hendrix did. If you use them correctly, its a cool pedal.

The micro synth is one of those novelty pedals that are awesome in the right circumstances. I find that if youre just a bedroom player, the honeymoon wears off quick because its just not a practical pedal. Just cause Mayer throws it into a couple live tunes doesnt mean its gonna be worth the coin or practical for your use.

For me the Zendrive wasnt anything cool or special, but to a lot of people it is the king. So maybe give it a try. If I were you I would get it straight from Alf at Hermida, have him build you one. Then if you dont like it, you will be able to sell it on eBay for a lot more than you paid. I bought it for the $187 that he charges to ship it out, then sold it for $250 on eBay, and the guy used Buy It Now after one day, so who knows what I could have gotten.

Im all about experimenting with pedals and have definitely done my share of that, but its always important to put in the time with pedals and get to know them. Then you thin out your number of pedals so you have a command over your board instead of a bunch of boxes that sound different. Just some things to think about.
