Csapo... the sonic stomp.. is it good? I'm guessing if it's taking up space on your board you must find it valuable... what sort of change does it make to your tone?

I think what is does, for the most part is very good. It is very commonly described as sounding like removing a blanket from covering an amp. That is pretty accurate. I also think it sounds better with a clean tone than an OD. More so from an amp OD. When I'm trying for my Mayer tone, I now use my amp OD and not an OD pedal and turn off the Sonic Stomp.

(FYI, this board config has been changed up a bit recently. We are a cover band so as the set list changes, so does the board line up)

BUT, I'm now on the fence about using it. I've been trying more settings with my Fuchs 30 ODS combo to attain a bit more of an open tone. I guess my feeling is I need an $80 box to make a $3000 amp (I got mine used and and at a very good price) sound better? That doesn't make sense to me.

So my use of the Sonic Stomp is decreasing but bottom line, for the price, I'd buy it again.
