yea. we'll all be playing to the metronome to sync up. Once we figure out the song, we'll break down the song structure and instruments and then we'll start allocating that. for now, i think we need more instruments, and i'll see what we can do about video. I prefer doing only audio as it's easier to work with.


I hope that the sound exposure for each person participating will work out. I wanted to get one or two rhythm guitarist to play through the whole song to keep the collaboration feeling solid while some others do their solos and such. Rhythm guitarists can have their flavor, and lead solos can do whatever they want. Vocalists get to stand out, of course.


Do you guys think it's better to audition the backing parts to different drummers/basists so that the majority of the participants here can choose what they want to play over?
