:raises hand: TEARS!

ok, so they're not full-on tears, but i'm a bit misty-eyed. thanks for all of the kind sentiments. not to get extremely personal, but i was a very early preemie (i was supposed to be born in feb., not dec.), so i started out life as a fighter. my birthday is always a joyful occasion, but i also reflect on what my family and i went through when i was first born and it just makes me appreciate the gravity and positivity of life.

thank you, T, for starting this thread. i forgot about the growing-out-my-pixie-cut phase (i need to send you a current photo!). that day in NY was a lovely break from the studying muck i was in at the time. meeting you and the other gals and then having to trek home through the gay pride parade (streets completely flooded with people = me unable to walk properly and fearing falling/getting trampled) is an indeiible memory.

thank you to those i've met and/or correspond with, and to those that post and/or lurk here for your wishes, too. i'm somewhat of a sap for the most part, and it's kind of amazing how many people john and his music have brought into my life over the last decade in one way or another. i know i can call some of them my best friends and that's pretty damn cool.

thankful this first of december was NOT covered with snow,
jocelyn
