Was it anything like the american shows?? Im guessing there was no countdown thing before NST?? Plus no "why Georgia"... its not a JM concert without that song! I hope the Assassin thing isnt to "Hi-tech" to do overseas. Will be happy if he keeps slow dancing and stop this train.

On a side note i think i should just move to america. It will solve all my concert problems.... Ok im shutting up now lol!!

No bells, whistles, big screens, countdowns, mosquito nets, partridges or pear trees. Those things are unnecessary and you honestly won't miss them from the moment the band hits the stage - the show is AWESOME. What it comes down to is that you've paid money to see John Mayer play his songs. That's what you get and it's worth every penny.  Keith Carlock was brilliant, and a truly excellent addition to the band dynamics.  Lack of banter was odd ("I had a break, it was good for me, but I've forgotten how to give good stage banter.") he was very jetlagged, but seemed in a great mood, which was lovely to see. The crowd was MELLLLOOWWW where bug and rosie were, but our section was all up by half way through NST... Hope we get a party crowd tomorrow night in Auckland, it's horrible to feel like you can't be yourself for fear of offending someone who's idea of fun is to sit down and stroke their chin through a friggin rock concert. Poor 'ol Rosie's humour was a tad misunderstood I think... We got a GREAT setlist, we had a GREAT night.. Full of all our favourites, plus one some think is a little bit stink   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpTLFypTt-I Love that he's mixed stuff up a bit from the Winter tour :-)... Off to Auckland Yussss.

p.s. in a vague attempt to prove to mayer that we could be hash taggy, (not just hash brownie) we tweeted from here www.twitter.com/sparestyla. Check in tomorrow if you wanna see updates of the setlist. But to be honest, I think tomorrow will be WAY more party and I might forget about my phone.. Time will tell.

You can take all the tricks up my sleeve....

Brooklyn, Brooklyn take me in...
