A few other things.. Before I go off into the land of nod. I'll write up something proper about the 2 days, eventually.

He teased Bigger Than My Body during NST, and sang a snippet of the chorus of "Almost Paradise" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yc40EasXz18 at the beginning of Half Of My Heart. He was in an 80's mood... hilarity ensued when he said something about feeling like he might be jetlagged enough to require a redbull, but it was a bad move, and the result was him doing 80's excersise montage "on the inside." (hehe sang a bit of "you're the best around" from the karate kid.. brrrrrrrilliant...) Deep question of the night "Who would win the battle between The Karate Kid & Rocky?" haha. Thanks to that little part of the evening, I don't have a Mayer song on my mind.. I'm lying in bed singing "You need a montage!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIi0vFyqWAc

For me, tonight was better than last in almost every conceivable way. The crowd was awesome. Up on their feet within seconds of the show starting and happily stayed that way til the end! I LOVED the setlist, LOVED being there with Rosie & Hazel in inconceivably good seats (thanks, presells) LOVED the teases and the general mood of John and the band (I repeat. Keith Carlock is fracking amazing! The whole band looked in awe of him during his solo!) John was in good form. Think there are enough good endorphins rushing through my veins to get me through for a while. Can I just say, we SO often get artists at the END of their tours when they're tired and just wanna go home. To get a freshly rested, seemingly energetic, happy and inspired John this time round was a total honour.

A grainy cell phone pic, to tide ye over...
