Thanks cait, I'll check out that site. I just need a good basic lesson with hand positions and the function of what the left and right do.

Bwp, my theory is pretty good I can make out where the notes are and how to make different triads and inversions. It's just a matter if finger dexterity and visual memory of the keys.

I did watch a couple beginning exercises today on how to play twinkle, twinkle. Easy I know, but what I found interesting was doing the melody with only the right hand and he showed the left playing the chords. It was a regular c triad, the f and g chords were first inversion voicings under the melody.

That had me wondering why? You know I can play edge if desire on acoustic and figure out the melody on the piano but have to learn the bass parts I guess you could say?

Hope that makes some sense...
