Totally agree. Seems a bit odd to pat yourself on the back for a cover of the biggest name in the game. If Walt Grace or Dear Marie were on that list, that's something to celebrate. But for me it would show that in order for John to rock a chart these days, he has to do a "Love Who You Love" PR blitz or a cover of a huge name. If he wants hits, he just needs to do a pop album. He just can't have it all regardless of what he does. He can't flee the world and rule it at the same time, although I truly think deep down that's what he's been wanting to do.

I guess I'm looking at the bigger picture. Yeah if you're just looking at this one song and the fact that it made some waves, then ok I guess.
