LOL...thats so funny... I was just about to post something about how this version has a little "River of Tears" quote at the begininng of his first solo.

None the less....I think it's one of those things that John throws in sometimes for really cultured music listeners....people who would hear it and appreciate it for the fact that he celebrates Clapton a little in his playing. I think this is one of most Clapton influenced songs in way of chords, melodys, and solo ideas. Notice, I said influenced.....


I also really like the fact that he quotes Clapton at the begininng, giving just enough to appreciate it and then leaving it for his own thing.

It's been really fascinating to watch him mature over the past 4 or 5 years.
