It is the guitar John played a million awesome songs with.. all those rare tapes and all. ..The stories and misconceptions. All of Come back To Bed and Covered In Rain.. Its the one which made him famous. This is the real John Mayer guitar. And now I'm seeing it up close in HD almost like in person. John is talking to me and feel like I'm in the cameraman's point of view. THis was magical to a fanboy like me.

I always thought his SRV was one of the few SRV Brazilian board units, but it's clearly Pau Ferro. Tonally, I find them a wee bit spankier or brighter than RW, would effect tone a little.

I remember he mentioned it before somewhere that he had it engraved at the mall. Also I didn't realize how modified it was. The neck back mods shocked me a bit.How do you break a whammy bar? - 6'3 man uses guitar as skateboard.
