I feel like Christian and Claire are both dead.

You may be right, Taw.
bhjmdu wrote: Kiwi is right, only Jack was at the funeral in that episode. That's why I was confused. I still say it's Micheal. After the new twist in the story line where he can't die until his island task is done, his death would be super significant...and almost like Jack's last hope of connection with things on-island. |

Top for the finale tonight.
USAToday had an article where creators said that the episode, The Constant, was one of the most pivotal/informative episodes of LOST yet. That was the one where Desmond was time traveling all around. They said that episode set the rules for LOST's time traveling and it's story arch. Edited to add they also said that anyone time traveling cannot change or "correct" the future while they go back in time - so much for the free will theorists.

So excited for the finale tonight.
They added some extra scenes to the re-airing of last week's episode tonight. Apparently the story that the Oceanic Six is telling the media is that Boone, Libby, and Charlie survived the initial crash but died while on the island. Interesting that they used three people that actually did die on the island, making me think there are others who are still on the island and alive in the future. Was that a lameass finale or was it just me?

I thought it was a good finale, though not surprised about who was in the coffin.
Walt is HUGE! Not happy with the (official) killing of Jin...but this will likely turn Sun into somewhat of a badass. Funny that Jack/Sawyer and Sun/Kate have sort of traded places. "Running is a mental sport and we're all insane" |

When Sun realizes that Jin is dead was such an emotional scene. It broke my heart! I think Sun will turn into a major bad ass because she has so much anger
for Jin's death and wants to blame it on someone-her father and Jack. That is most likely why she wants to team up with Witmore so that she can have
access to the island again and try to seek revenge of some sorts.
Why were they calling Locke Jeremy? Why wouldn't they just use his first name? Still so many unanswered questions. Last season's finale was much better but I thought this one offered a lot more information as far as answering questions that were emerging throughout the season. I love that Desmond is back with Penny. Um...and Aaron is one good baby. Seriously, he didn't even cry once while the helicopter hit the water or in that raft boat. I wonder if the island wants Ben back though because it seems to be he got booted off by Jacob. ***~These are a few of my favorite things~*** ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

More thoughts.....
While I have grown more sympathy for Ben, I still think he is manipulative and will do anything and harm anyone to get his way. That being said, he's gotta be manipulating Jack somehow to get all of them back on the island. It seems that he's already manipulating Sayid somehow by having him kill the list of people. There's NO way Locke is dead. ***~These are a few of my favorite things~*** ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Loved this finale! It answered/confirmed so many questions but still left so many more to be answered! Very satisfying.
Don't know if anyone saw the ABC Good Morning America promo where they said they would reveal 2 alternate endings? I just happened to turn on GMA a minute ago and saw the the endings were 2 different bodies in the coffin: Sawyer and Desmond - made to keep leaks from revealing who was actually in the coffin. It may go up on their website today. Desmond and Penny's reunion was so lovely. Sun losing Gin was heart wrenching, although I don't think Sun and Gin will be apart forever. Abrams and Lindelof are geniuses. Even with the challenge of squeezing many more episodes into the few because of the writers strike, this season was great. A tad uneven, but the finale made up for it all.

i thought des was in that coffin.
i dont think jin or michael are dead...especially jin because the deck wasnt blown up...i dont know how they would make it back to the island since it moved and all but i dont think theyre dead. i loved the finale. starting it on that scene was great. jack being crazy years in the future is great and locke calling it is even better. i wonder what happens with that room and portal if they move the island...maybe the room and island sort of reset? theres a lot more questions now but i love it. |

I guess I just wanted a big cliff hanger and I didnt really feel like we got that. I guess the island disappearing kinda was...

A few other things that also intrigued me:
--Charlotte not wanting off the island and being called out by Miles that she was born there!! -- Sun's fury, and her blame of Two people, one presumably being jack --Locke's prediction of Jack's future coming true --what's happens to Dan Farriday, does he just stay lost at sea on that dingy?? --what did Sawyer whisper to Kate before he jumped out of the helicopter? --the gears used to move the island were covered in ice/frost...hmmm and Michael kept the boat from blowing up in the same way. Does the island need to be controlled by the people on it so that it doesn't just blow up or something? Are the others truly protecting the island as in preserving its existence, as well as invasion from the outside world? --Walt reappears...again. Will we ever have an explanation for him/his purpose? --What happens to Lapidus? --Jacob told LOCKE to move the island, not Ben. Why does Ben take this task on knowing that he would never be able to return? He also apologizes for making Locke's life so miserable...does Ben give up the island bc he feels like he owes Locke something?? --Christian "releasing" Michael...what is up with him, and how is he involved in all of this if he was dead before the plane even crashed?

what did Sawyer whisper to Kate before he jumped out of the helicopter?
At least one thing was asking her to look after Hurley. This is what was revealed in that episode with Jack - she was visiting Hurley secretly when Jack confronted her about her whereabouts. She told Jack, I promised him I'd take care of him, or something like that.
